Sema Öztürk — Biography

Sema Öztürk was born on 23 June 1977 in Istanbul. After graduating from Istanbul University's English Economics Department, she worked as a VJ and host on Kral TV, presenting programs such as 'Şaka Gibi', 'Ekopazar', 'Yabancı Gelin', 'Bugün Ne Giysem', 'Dokun Bana', 'Formula 1' and '2 Oda 1 Salon'.

She began her acting career in 1997 with the series Kara Melek, and took starring roles in Ruhsar, Ayrılsak da Beraberiz, Mahallenin Muhtarları, Melekler Adası and Hacı, as well as the films Deli Dumrul Kurtlar Kuşlar Aleminde and Avrupalı. She played Jülide Toros in Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu in 2007-2008, appeared in Karadayı in 2013 and O Hayat Benim in 2016, and played Tülin in the 2017 series Meryem.

Between 2019 and 2020 she played Damla in Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz, and from 2023 to 2024 she played Azra in Kızılcık Şerbeti; in 2025 she appeared in the NOW channel series Ben Onun Annesiyim.
