Ayçin İnci — Biography

Ayçin İnci was born in Istanbul on 3 May 1980, the daughter of Murat İnci and Çiğdem Karakoç. She comes from a family of performers: her grandfather is the veteran Yeşilçam actor Bilal İnci, and her sister Ayça İnci is also an actress. She graduated from Üsküdar High School in 1997 and went on to study economics at Anadolu University's Open Education Faculty. From 2001 she appeared in television commercials, which gave her early experience in front of the camera.

Her acting career proper began in 2003 with the series Kurşun Yarası. In 2005 she trained at the Şahika Tekand Acting Workshop, and that same year made her first film, Sen Ne Dilersen; in 2006 she made her stage debut in the play Eurideke'nin Çığlığı, establishing herself as a performer working across television, cinema and theatre. On television she has taken parts in series such as Oğlum İçin, Benim Annem Bir Melek, Mor Menekşeler, İbret-i Alem, Tozlu Yollar, Salih Kuşu and Üç Arkadaş. In Fox Tv's O Hayat Benim, led by Keremcem and Ezgi Asaroğlu, she played Zuhal.

She has been married twice. In 2007 she married actor Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan, and the couple divorced by mutual consent in 2012. In July 2013 she married fellow actor Serdal Genç; that marriage also ended in an uncontested divorce in 2015.
