My Mother Is an Angel (Benim Annem Bir Melek) (translated)

My Mother Is an Angel is a Turkish family and situation comedy series produced by BKM Film, which aired from 2008 to 2010. Running for three seasons, it ended with its 64th episode. The first season closed early when lead actor Ali Sunal left for military service; the first two seasons were shown on ATV, while the third season, which began in November 2009, moved to Star TV. As a result, episodes up to number 40 were broadcast on ATV and the remainder on Star TV, with the series concluding on 10 May 2010.

The story follows the everyday life of a large, lively family sharing the same apartment building, told with a humorous tone. At its centre stands a mother-in-law who is as sharp-tongued as she is endearing, and the plot revolves around the comic frictions and affectionate bonds among the family members.
