Sevil Akı — Biography

Sevil Akı (born September 9, 1971, in Erzurum) is a Turkish theatre, film and television actress and voice artist. After graduating from the Business Administration Department of Trakya University, she trained in theatre at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center and performed on stage with companies such as the İstanbul State Theatre and the İstanbul City Theatre.

She began her television career with Gurbetçiler (1996) and went on to appear in series such as Tatlı Hayat (2001), Hacı (2006), Benim Annem Bir Melek (2008) and Keşanlı Ali Destanı (2012). She became widely known for her portrayal of Emine in the series Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz (2015) and also appeared in the films Nadide Hayat (2015) and Aman Reis Duymasın (2019). Following the series Ben Bu Cihana Sığmazam (2022), she took on the character Azize in the series Yeraltı in 2026.
