Those in the Back Row (Arka Sıradakiler) (translated)

Arka Sıradakiler is a Turkish teen drama series produced by MinT Prodüksiyon for FOX, produced by Birol Güven and directed by Hamdi Alkan. Premiering on FOX on September 30, 2007, the title ("Those in the Back Row") refers to the school's overlooked back-row students; its story centers on Büyük Zafer High School, a school that had never sent a single student to university, and an idealistic new teacher's efforts to set its students on a better path.

Tackling gang violence, drugs and extortion through a youthful lens, the series wrapped its FOX run with its 170th episode in 2011, then moved to TNT (today's NOW) in January 2012 for a sixth and final season; the planned 193rd and last episode never aired after the channel was shut down. Its cast included Bülent Emin Yarar, Barış Atay, Sinem Öztürk and Sevda Dalgıç, and the show also spawned a 2010–2011 spin-off, Öğretmen Kemal.
