Serenay Aktaş — Biography

Serenay Aktaş, born on 1 October 1993 in the Bakırköy district of Istanbul, is a Turkish actress and former women's footballer. She studied at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center Theatre Department.

She began her sports life at the age of 15 playing football for Zeytinburnuspor; she played as a forward and later transferred to 1207 Antalyaspor. The contract she signed with Beşiktaş in 2015 was annulled because she joined the Survivor reality show. She became widely known by competing in Survivor (2014), Survivor All Star (2015) and Survivor 2025 All Star.

She started acting with the series Kanıt (2012) and had her first main-cast experience with Arka Sıradakiler (2012). She portrayed Ayşe Hatun in Muhteşem Yüzyıl (2013) and appeared in the series Kaçak Gelinler (2014), Acil Aşk Aranıyor (2015) and İlişki Durumu: Evli (2016). She played Burcu Aktar in the series Meryem (2017) and Pelin Şafak in the film Figüran (2014).
