Barış Murat Yağcı — Biography

Barış Murat Yağcı was born in İzmir on January 21, 1991; he is a model, athlete, and actor. After graduating from Bahçeşehir University's Department of International Relations, he studied Sports Management at Anadolu University.

During his youth, he played professional basketball for Efes Pilsen; after being forced to quit the sport due to an injury, he turned to modeling. He was chosen as the winner of the Best Model of Turkey competition; this success attracted the attention of producers, and he began taking acting lessons.

He began his television career with the first series, "Kocamın Ailesi" (My Husband's Family); subsequently, he increased his recognition with the character Eymen in "Kiralık Aşk" (Rental Love). He played the role of Bora in the series "Şevkat Yerimdar" (Sevkat Yerimdar) broadcast on Fox TV; and in 2018, he appeared before the audience as the character Demir in "Sosyetik Gelin" (Socialite Bride).
