Duygu Çetinkaya — Biography

Duygu Çetinkaya (born 13 January 1986 in Denizli) is a Turkish actress and television presenter. The daughter of a soldier, she grew up moving between cities such as Ankara, İzmir, İskenderun and Erdek, spent part of her high school years in Stockholm, Sweden, and graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Gazi University.

She began acting in the early 2000s and became widely known as Kurdela in the youth comedy Çılgın Dersane (2007, internationally The Class), a role she reprised in its sequels and in the series Çılgın Dersane Üniversitede. Her performance as Sezen in the television drama Binbir Gece earned her a promising-actress award at the 2009 Elit awards. Her film credits include Nekrüt (2008), Özcan Deniz's Ya Sonra? (2011) and the romantic comedy Çat Kapı Aşk (2019), while on television she appeared in series such as Seni Bana Yazmışlar and Firar.

Also active as a presenter, she competed in Survivor Ünlüler-Gönüllüler in 2013 and returned for Survivor All Star in 2015, from which she was removed following on-screen disputes.
