İsmail Düvenci — Biography

İsmail Düvenci is a Turkish actor, born on November 15, 1947 in Hatay. After graduating from the Istanbul Municipal Conservatory in 1966, he began acting, focusing on cinema and theatre in his early years before turning to television series. He is the father of actress Ceyda Düvenci.

On television he appeared in series such as Mahallenin Muhtarları (1992), Tatlı Hayat (2001), Kurtlar Vadisi (2003), Haziran Gecesi (2004), Binbir Gece (2006), Dudaktan Kalbe (2007), Parmaklıklar Ardında (2007) and Umutsuz Ev Kadınları (2011). He became widely remembered as Cevher Albay in the Kanal D series Poyraz Karayel (2015), a character he also played in the feature film Poyraz Karayel: Küresel Sermaye (2017). More recently he appeared in the series Bir Annenin Günahı (2020) and Sipahi (2022).
