Hakkı Ergök — Biography

Hakkı Ergök (born 18 August 1960, Kastamonu) is a Turkish stage, film and television actor and voice actor. After studying banking and insurance, he took to the amateur stage at the Ankara Art Theatre and then graduated from the Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory. He worked at the İzmir, Ankara and Istanbul State Theatres, taught theatre at Ege University and has worked in dubbing since his conservatory years.

His screen career began with Kuruntu Ailesi (1983); he went on to appear in series such as Kurtlar Vadisi (2003), Cennet Mahallesi (2004), Küçük Sırlar (2010) and Yüksek Sosyete (2016), in which he played Metin, and in the films Her Şey Aşktan (2016) and Bir Nefes Yeter (2017). Also a poet, Ergök has served as culture and arts advisor to the Mayor of Küçükçekmece since 2019 and continues his stage work with the municipality's theatre productions.
