Laçin Ceylan — Biography
Laçin Ceylan was born on 25 November 1965 in İzmir. She graduated in 1989 from the Theatre Department of the Ankara State Conservatory at Hacettepe University. After working at the Diyarbakır and Ankara State Theatres, she founded the Bi Tiyatro company in 2006 together with Levent Öktem and Nihat İleri and performed in its play "Etna - Bedendeki Kuyu". Her stage work earned her Best Actress honors at the 2007 Sadri Alışık, Lions and Tiyatro Tiyatro awards.
She stepped in front of the camera with the 1992 film Kurşun Adres Sormaz and became widely known through Yazı Tura, Gece Yürüyüşü, Gümüş and Hatırla Sevgili. She played Feride in 11'e 10 Kala, Selda in Çilek Kokusu, Macide in Delibal and Latife in Aşk ve Gurur. She went on to appear in İnsanlık Suçu, Aşk Ağlatır, Yüz Yıllık Mucize and Gaddar, and starred in the 2025 film O Da Bir Şey Mi. In 2026 she was announced as a new addition to the cast of Kızılcık Şerbeti, but a change in the script led her to leave the project before ever appearing in the series.
