Diploma of Craziness (Kaçıklık Diploması) (translated)

Graduate of Insanity (Kaçıklık Diploması) is a 1998 Turkish drama film directed by Tunç Başaran. Adapted from Ayşe Nil Tahralı's novel of the same name, the screenplay was co-written by Başaran and Ahmet Haluk Ünal, with Kadri Yurdatap producing. The Mine Film production was released on October 16, 1998.

The film follows Nur, a woman diagnosed with bipolar disorder with psychotic features, who is admitted to a mental hospital. During her stay she begins confronting the events that fed her illness, tracing her life from childhood to marriage. Ayda Aksel and Selçuk Yöntem lead the cast, which also includes Taner Barlas, Güler Ökten, Neslihan Yeldan and Binnur Kaya. Shot by cinematographer Ertunç Şenkay with music by Nedim Otyam, the film collected numerous acting and technical awards at the Antalya and Ankara film festivals.
