Selçuk Yöntem — Biography
Akif Selçuk Yöntem (born 13 July 1953 in Istanbul) is a Turkish theatre, film and television actor and TV presenter.
After Şişli Terakki High School he graduated from the theatre department of the Ankara State Conservatory in 1976 and joined the Ankara State Theatre in 1977, winning awards for stage productions such as Dört Mevsim and Deli Dumrul. He made his screen debut in 1978 with the series Atlı Karınca.
He became widely known as Aslan Akbey in Kurtlar Vadisi and as Adnan Ziyagil in Aşk-ı Memnu (2008-2010). His films include C Blok (1994), Banyo (2005), Devrim Arabaları (2008), Gölgesizler (2009) and Celal Tan ve Ailesinin Aşırı Acıklı Hikayesi (2011). From 2014 to 2017 he presented Kim Milyoner Olmak İster?; in recent years he has returned to the stage in the musical Don Quixote (2025) and the play Amadeus (2026).
