Alp Kırşan — Biography

Alp Kırşan was born on 3 November 1979 in the Karşıyaka district of İzmir.

He studied at the Academy of Sports and Arts at Celal Bayar University and began his career as a professional model; in 2002 he was chosen Best Model of Turkey and came third at Best Model of the World.

He became known on television presenting Sabah Şekerleri together with Özlem Yıldız, and stepped into acting with the play Oyunun Oyunu at the Yasemin Yalçın Theatre.

After a two-episode role in Deli Yürek, he acted in the series Kampüsistan, Cennet Mahallesi and Akasya Durağı and in comedy films such as Çılgın Dersane, Avanak Kuzenler and Kadri'nin Götürdüğü Yere Git, and was loved as Yiğit in the sitcom Çat Kapı.

Kırşan, who also hosted Survivor and Yetenek Sizsiniz Türkiye, has in recent years built a life close to nature in İzmir with his family and returned to the screen with the travel program Bir Yolculuk Hikayesi.
