The Unsuccessful Ones (Tutunamayanlar) (translated)

Tutunamayanlar is a Turkish absurdist comedy series produced jointly by Istanbul Media Academy and Neden Film. It debuted on TRT 1 on January 7, 2020, and wrapped up with its nineteenth episode in June of the same year.

At the heart of the story is Tarık, a man who has never held a job in his life and has no desire to start. After falling for İrem during a job interview, he ventures into entrepreneurship, hoping to impress a young woman whose greatest ambition is to build a successful business of her own. İrem, left with nowhere to go, settles into Tarık's neighborhood and takes a job at the local book cafe, while Tarık launches a string of comically doomed business attempts. The leading cast features Doğu Demirkol and Ece Çeşmioğlu, supported by seasoned performers such as Zafer Algöz, Şinasi Yurtsever, and Asuman Dabak.
