Zafer Algöz — Biography
Zafer Algöz was born on 30 August 1961 in Kars and spent part of his childhood in Trabzon. After graduating from the Ankara State Conservatory's theatre department in 1985, he began his career at Bursa State Theatre and moved to Istanbul State Theatres in 1989, where he continued performing for many years.
He drew attention in cinema with Cholera Street (1997), Mrs. Salkım's Diamonds (1999) and Durusma (1999), and went on to appear in numerous films including A.R.O.G (2008), Yahşi Batı (2009), Uzun Hikaye (2012), Kaçma Birader (2016), Salur Kazan: Zoraki Kahraman (2017), Arif V 216 (2018), Görevimiz Tatil (2018) and Karakomik Filmler (2019), as well as the television series İntikam (2012) and Tutunamayanlar (2020).
Since 2019 he has also produced content on YouTube together with fellow actor Can Yılmaz, while continuing to perform on stage.
