Anıl Altan — Biography

Anıl Altan was born on May 29, 1990 in Istanbul. He studied in the Geophysics Department of Kocaeli University; after working as a model for a time, he turned to acting and received acting training at the Akademi 35 Buçuk art school.

He had his first on-screen experience in 2012 with the series Arka Sıradakiler, and in 2014 he appeared in the series Boynu Bükükler and Kaderimin Yazıldığı Gün.

In 2017 he portrayed the character Volkan in the crime series Çember, broadcast on Star TV, whose leading roles he shared with Pelin Akil, Serhat Kılıç and Barış Bağcı. He married his fellow actress Pelin Akil in 2016; the couple, who have twin daughters from this marriage, divorced in 2025.
