Çiçek Taksi (Flower Taxi) is a family comedy series produced by Erler Film that began airing on atv on 27 September 1995. Its first four seasons and 169 episodes ran on atv before the show moved to TRT 1 in 2001, where a further 198 episodes were made, bringing the total to 367 episodes across seven seasons; the final episode aired on 27 December 2003. Set around a taxi stand in an Istanbul neighbourhood, the series follows the drivers, local shopkeepers and residents through the small misunderstandings and warm mix-ups that a new customer or newcomer to the block tends to spark. Its large ensemble cast included Ayça Bingöl, Bülent Polat, Ayberk Pekcan, Ceyda Düvenci and Civan Canova, among many others, and the show is remembered as an influential piece of the era's television comedy.
