Evin Esen — Biography

Evin Esen (11 May 1949 – 18 January 2012) was a Turkish television and theatre actress born in Istanbul. Alongside acting, she also worked at times as an assistant director over a career that began in the late 1980s.

She appeared in series such as Çiçek Taksi and Tatlı Kaçıklar, and became best known for playing the character Şaziment in the series Akasya Durağı. Esen died in Istanbul on 18 January 2012 following a cerebral hemorrhage, and her funeral was attended by numerous colleagues from the Turkish entertainment industry.
