Gül Gölge — Biography
Gül Gölge was born on 28 September 1981 in İzmir. She finished secondary school at Özel Türk Koleji there, then moved to Istanbul to study Film and Television Programming at Bilgi University's Communication Faculty. In 1997 she reached the final of the Türkiye Güzellik Yarışması pageant and placed as runner-up.
Her on-screen career opened in 1995 with the character Nuray Yıldırım in the series Çiçek Taksi; she went on to take roles in Yapayalnız, Acemi Cadı, Selena and Akasya Durağı, and appeared on the big screen in Mezuniyet and Köpek.
As a presenter she hosted Kanal D's Canlı Canlı between 2005 and 2009, and from 2016 served as a judge on the fashion competition Gardırop Savaşları. She married Murat Saygı in 2007, had two sons from the marriage, Ali and Emir, and divorced him in 2018. In 2026 her first novel, Lagom, reached readers.
