Mahperi Mertoğlu — Biography
Mahperi Mertoğlu was born on 4 April 1969 in Ankara. After graduating from the Department of English Literature at Boğaziçi University, she completed a master's degree at Yeditepe University. When she turned to acting, she joined the company of the City Theatres.
Her first experience in front of the camera came with the 1989 feature film Medcezir Manzaraları. She went on to appear in series such as Çiçek Taksi, Şaşıfelek Çıkmazı, Çatısız Kadınlar, Bedel, Yılan Hikayesi, Nasıl Evde Kaldım, Yuvam Yıkılmasın, Ahh İstanbul and Melekler Korusun, and acted in the films Sakin Kasabanın Kadını, Dilber and Kırlangıç.
In 2016 she played the character Ayla in the series Bana Sevmeyi Anlat, broadcast on Fox TV with Kadir Doğulu and Seda Bakan in the leading roles.
