Cengiz Küçükayvaz — Biography

Cengiz Küçükayvaz (born 30 July 1968 in Uşak) is a Turkish stage, film and television actor and voice actor, widely associated with comic parts.

He studied acting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Dokuz Eylül University in İzmir, where he collaborated with theatre figures such as Şahika Tekand and Gürol Tonbul. His professional career began on the stages of the Tuncay Özinel and Hadi Çaman theatre companies.

Television made him a household name, above all as Ömer in the long-running series Çiçek Taksi, followed by roles in Reyting Hamdi, Emret Komutanım, Cennet Mahallesi and Kertenkele. On the big screen he appeared in films including Gemide, Laleli'de Bir Azize, Kahpe Bizans and Hemşo, and became familiar to comedy audiences as Kötü Kenan in the Hababam Sınıfı films and as Kamil in the Maskeli Beşler series. His later credits include 7 Kocalı Hürmüz, Harbi Define, Çakallarla Dans, Şipşak Anadolu and Burçlar, and he also contributed to the screenplay of Hadi Hayırlısı: İstakoz'un Haritası.
