The Nameless Knight (Adsız Cengaver)

The Nameless Knight (Turkish: Adsız Cengaver ve Sultan Gelin) is a 1970 Turkish-Iranian co-production, a historical adventure-fantasy shot on location in Iran under Turkish director Halit Refiğ, with a parallel Persian-language version, Farzand-e Shamshir, directed by Hassan Sasanpour. Its story draws loosely on motifs from the legend of Moses and the Thousand and One Nights.

Cüneyt Arkın and Nebahat Çehre lead a cast that also includes Milton Reid, Pouri Banayi and Humayun Tebrizyan. As one of Yeşilçam's cross-border adventure productions of the era, it pairs classic sword-and-sandal spectacle with Iranian settings, a combination that made it a distinctive if minor entry in Turkish popular cinema of the early 1970s.
