Kurtar Beni

Kurtar Beni is a 1988 Turkish drama directed by Halit Refiğ, written by Mustafa Kutlu. Gülşen Bubikoğlu stars as Ayten, a sex worker who finds hope and strength through her friendship with Imam Salih (Talat Bulut). Their unlikely bond faces social prejudice and danger. The film won Gülşen Bubikoğlu the Best Actress award at the 25th Antalya Altın Portakal Film Festival.
