Nebahat Çehre — Biography
Hilal Nebahat Çehre (born 15 March 1944, Samsun) is a Turkish actress, model and singer. Crowned Miss Turkey in 1960, she represented her country at the Miss World pageant in London that year and at Miss Universe in Miami Beach in 1965. From 1961 she took on a wide range of film roles, and between 1964 and 1968 she co-starred opposite Yılmaz Güney in thirteen films.
She also recorded music between 1970 and 1991, with her song Büklüm Büklüm, composed by Sezen Aksu, becoming a hit. Çehre returned to prominence on television in the 2000s, playing Firdevs Yöreoğlu in Aşk-ı Memnu and Hafsa Sultan in Muhteşem Yüzyıl.
