Anxiety (Endişe) is a 1974 Turkish political drama written and produced by Yılmaz Güney for Güney Film. It follows Cevher, a cotton laborer in the Çukurova fields whose blood-feud enemies give him a stark choice: pay the blood price within forty-five days or be killed. While fellow workers strike over their conditions, Cevher's shrinking deadline forces him back to work, and the pressure deepens when Osman, one of the boss's men, demands his daughter Beyaz's hand.

The film's direction is one of the most striking stories in Turkish cinema: after Yılmaz Güney began shooting, he was arrested following an incident in Yumurtalık, Adana, and his close friend and assistant Şerif Gören took over and completed the film. Starring Erkan Yücel, Kamran Usluer and Ayşe Emel Mesçi, with Güney appearing as a cotton worker, the film won numerous awards at the 12th Golden Orange Film Festival in 1975, including Best Film, Best Screenplay and Best Director.
