Nizam Ergüden — Biography

Nizam Ergüden was born on 17 September 1918 in Afyonkarahisar and died in İzmir. A familiar face of Yeşilçam cinema, he worked in several capacities beyond acting, including as a set manager and art director, serving as art director on Babalık, the film starring Cüneyt Arkın.

Over the course of his career he appeared in Yeşilçam-era productions such as Üç Kağıtçı, Banker Bilo, Beş Parasız Adam and Atla Gel Şaban, sharing the screen with Türkan Şoray in On Kadın and appearing alongside Hakkı Kıvanç in more than one production.

Active in the film industry for many years, Ergüden is still remembered today for the characters he portrayed in Yeşilçam's classic comedies and dramas.
