Osman Alyanak — Biography
Osman Alyanak (1911, Istanbul – 30 September 1991, Istanbul) was a Turkish actor and voice artist. In his youth he played football for Galatasaray SK and was once the league's top scorer.
He began his artistic career acting in operettas and, after short spells with theatre companies, moved into cinema with "İstanbul Geceleri" in 1950. From 1950 to 1990 he appeared in more than one hundred films, mostly in warm, fatherly supporting roles.
His credits include "Umut" (1970), "Anayurt Oteli" (1987), "Kızılırmak-Karakoyun" (1967) and "Zübük" (1980); he won the Best Supporting Actor award at the International Adana Film Festival.
