Christian Clavier — Biography
Christian Clavier (born 6 May 1952 in the 15th arrondissement of Paris) is a French actor, screenwriter and film producer. He rose to prominence in the 1970s with the Le Splendid café-théâtre troupe and became widely popular through the hit comedy series Les Bronzés and Les Visiteurs. He later played Astérix in the Astérix et Obélix films, and has been a Knight of the Legion of Honour since 2008.
