Les Bronzés font du ski

Movie · 1979 · 2 people

Les Bronzés font du ski is a classic French comedy that was both written and performed by the well-known comedy troupe Le Splendid, working as a collective, with Patrice Leconte directing. It follows on directly from an earlier picture in the series that had opened in cinemas the previous year, and the franchise was later extended with a third installment that reached screens in 2006. Christian Clavier and Roland Giraud, both recognizable members of the troupe, appear among the cast.

With the ensemble sharing writing duties as well as on-screen roles, the film sits alongside its companion pictures as one of the enduring favorites of French mainstream comedy. Largely retaining the same group of performers from the first installment, it carries forward the troupe's distinctive comic style to a wide audience.
