Roland Giraud — Biography
Roland Giraud is a French film and television actor, born on 14 February 1942 in Rabat, Morocco. He trained for the stage during the 1960s, joined the theatre company founded by comedian Coluche in 1971, and around the same period also worked with the Le Splendid troupe. He made his screen debut in Michel Audiard's 1974 film Bons baisers... à lundi, then built wider recognition through his role in Papy fait de la résistance, as well as in Coline Serreau's film Trois hommes et un couffin. Across a career spanning several decades he appeared in dozens of French productions, including Fantômas contre Scotland Yard, Elle voit des nains partout!, Liberté, Égalité, Choucroute, Le Maître d'école, and Quatre garçons pleins d'avenir, remaining active on screen into the 2010s.
