Les Vengeances de Maître Poutifard

Released in 2023, Les Vengeances de Maître Poutifard is a French-Belgian family comedy directed by Pierre-François Martin-Laval, who also wrote the script, adapting a 2004 children's novel by Jean-Claude Mourlevat. The story follows Robert Poutifard, a retired schoolteacher determined to settle old scores with the former pupils who once made his life miserable, recruiting his own mother as his partner in mischief. Together the pair cook up elaborate, good-humored payback schemes for each target.

Christian Clavier headlines the cast alongside Isabelle Nanty and Jennie-Anne Walker, with Jacky Nercessian also featured. TF1 Films Production backed the roughly eighty-minute picture, which blends gentle mischief with a warm, family-friendly tone throughout.
