Cocorico

Cocorico is a 2024 French comedy film directed by Julien Hervé, who also wrote the screenplay. Alice and François, a couple about to marry, decide to bring their socially very different families together and mark the occasion with an unusual gift: DNA tests that let everyone discover their ancestral origins.

What begins as a fun surprise quickly turns into a fiasco when the Bouvier-Sauvages, a proud aristocratic family, and the far more modest Martins receive results nobody expected. Starring Christian Clavier and Chloé Coulloud, the film builds its humor around the clash between characters such as Frédéric Bouvier-Sauvage and Gérard Martin, playfully questioning what family and heritage really mean.
