The Third Page (Üçüncü Sayfa) (translated)

The Third Page (Üçüncü Sayfa) is a 1999 Turkish drama film written and directed by Zeki Demirkubuz and produced by Mavi Film, with Demirkubuz and Nihal G. Koldaş as producers. In 1999 and 2000 it collected numerous prizes at home and abroad, including four awards at the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival and two each at the Turkish Film Critics Association and Sadri Alışık awards.

The story follows İsa, who earns his living as a film extra and is accused of stealing fifty dollars in a mafia-like milieu, given one day to return the money. Driven to the brink of suicide, he accidentally shoots his landlord, who has come to demand overdue rent, and is then drawn into a dark world through his growing closeness to his neighbor Meryem. The cast is led by Ruhi Sarı and Başak Köklükaya, alongside Serdar Orçin, Cengiz Sezici and Emrah Elçiboğa.
