Destiny (Kader)

Kader (Destiny) is a 2006 Turkish drama film written, directed and produced by Zeki Demirkubuz. Released across Turkey on November 17, 2006, it serves as a prequel to the director's 1997 film Innocence, exploring the past of its central characters. The 103-minute film stars Vildan Atasever, Ufuk Bayraktar and Engin Akyürek, with Müge Ulusoy, Ozan Bilen and Erkan Can also in the cast.

The story follows Uğur, a bar singer devoted to an unstable criminal named Zagor, and Bekir, who is hopelessly in love with her. After a murder sends Uğur and Zagor into hiding, Bekir begins a years-long search for the woman he loves. Kader won numerous festival honors, including the Golden Orange for Best Film in Antalya and the Golden Tulip in Istanbul, along with awards in Ankara and Nuremberg.
