Ayten Soykök — Biography

Ayten Soykök Tokgöz is an actress who has worked in both television and film since 1997 and is known for period dramas and long-running series. She trained at the Müjdat Gezen Theatre and, before reaching the screen, also worked as a model and beauty-pageant contestant. In recent years she has appeared as Handan in Aziz, Nilüfer in Sen Anlat Karadeniz and İnci in Cam Tavanlar.

She began in 1997 with the series Baba Evi, playing Özlem; that year she appeared in four series, including Sıdıka and Yasemince, and in 1998 came Ruhsar and her first feature film, Üçüncü Sayfa. From 1999 to 2002 she was in all four seasons of Ayrılsak da Beraberiz, followed by Tatlı Hayat, Bulut Bey and Mühürlü Güller. Among the period productions of those years she played Hatice Sultan in Hürrem Sultan, and she was Enise in Dudaktan Kalbe. In the 2010s she played Reyhan Ilgaz in Lale Devri, Gülnur in the film Kurtuluş Son Durak and Hayriye in Aşktan Kaçılmaz, and she also appeared in the film Kelebeğin Rüyası.

More recently she has kept working in Kuzgun (as Seda Bilgin), Son Gün and the 2025 series Aynadaki Yabancı (as Müjgan Günebakan). Her filmography shows an actress who has worked without a long break for roughly thirty years, mostly in television, with film roles such as Abuzer Kadayıf and Mahpeyker Kösem Sultan in between.
