The Stranger in the Mirror (Aynadaki Yabancı) (translated)

Aynadaki Yabancı ("The Stranger in the Mirror") is a Turkish drama series produced by MF Yapım that premiered on ATV on 4 October 2025. Eda Teksöz and Eda Erdek Koçoğlu directed the show, working from scripts by Pelin Gülcan, Batuhan Özbay, Berşan Tan and Su Korur. It ran for a single season of seven episodes, ending on 15 November 2025.

The story follows Azra, whose life as the daughter-in-law of the wealthy Karaaslan family looks like a fairytale from the outside but hides dark secrets. After paying a heavy price in an attempt to flee with her daughter, she sees only one way back to her child: to change her face and re-enter that house as a stranger. The gifted plastic surgeon Barış Saygıner rewrites not just her features but her fate on the operating table, while the shadows of the past and an impossible love become her greatest test.

Onur Tuna, Simay Barlas and Caner Topçu lead the cast, which also features Asuman Dabak.
