Belçim Bilgin — Biography

Belçim Bilgin (born 31 January 1983 in Ankara) is a Turkish actress of Kurdish origin. She acted in school theatre productions before studying at Hacettepe University, where she made her film debut in Kilomètre Zéro (2005). She paused her studies to settle in Paris, returning to Turkey two years later to appear in Dol (2007).

She appeared in the television series Hatırla Sevgili (2007) and married actor-director Yılmaz Erdoğan in 2006 (the couple divorced in 2026). After a role in Tomris Giritlioğlu's Güz Sancısı (2008), she shared the lead with Mehmet Günsür in Aşk Tesadüfleri Sever (2011), and became widely known through Kurtuluş Son Durak (2012), Gergedan Mevsimi (2012) and Kelebeğin Rüyası (2013).

Her later credits include Sadece Sen (2014), Çalsın Sazlar (2015), Annemin Yarası (2016), Kördüğüm (2016), Fi (2017), Cebimdeki Yabancı (2018) and the international production Backstabbing for Beginners (2018), as well as Roza (2023) and Bağlantı Hatası (2025).
