Do Not Forget Me Istanbul (Unutma beni İstanbul)

Do Not Forget Me Istanbul is a 2011 Turkish-Greek co-production anthology film. Produced by Sevil Demirci and Emre Yeksan under the supervision of Hüseyin Karabey, it consists of six short segments of about fifteen minutes each, made by seven internationally acclaimed directors: Hany Abu-Assad, Stefan Arsenijević, Aida Begić, Eric Nazarian, Omar Shargawi, Josefina Markarian, and Stergios Niziris, who each wrote and directed stories drawn from their own lives or from lives they had witnessed.

The film aims to remind audiences that Istanbul's past does not belong solely to its present-day peoples; the city's cosmopolitan history brings together characters who arrive for different reasons, such as the Bosnian actress Alma, the middle-aged couple Dragan and Ana, Vangelis, Martha, and Armenak. Premiering in Sarajevo in 2011, the film features Turkish and international performers including Belçim Bilgin, Mert Fırat, Serra Yılmaz, Baki Davrak, Hiyam Abbas, and Mira Furlan.
