Ali Süleyman — Biography

Ali Suliman is a Palestinian film and stage actor born on 10 October 1977 in Nazareth. He trained as a performer before starting his screen career in the early 2000s and has since worked in both regional and international productions. He first drew wide attention for a role in a drama directed by Hany Abu-Assad, and went on to appear in films such as The Kingdom, Body of Lies, Lemon Tree and The Syrian Bride. He is also recognized for a role in an American spy television series. In more recent years he has appeared in Farha, The Swimmers and Yunan, plus the series House of David, in which he plays King Saul. He also works as a film producer and continues to be active across regional and international film and television.
