Hunting Season (Av Mevsimi)

Hunting Season (Av Mevsimi) is a 2010 Turkish crime drama written and directed by Yavuz Turgul and produced by Fida Film. Filming began in April and wrapped after 51 days in June, and the film opened nationwide on December 3, 2010. Also released in six European countries, it ranked among the highest-grossing Turkish productions of its year.

The story follows three homicide detectives investigating the murder of a young woman. Şener Şen plays Ferman, a legendary veteran known as "The Hunter"; Cem Yılmaz is his hot-headed partner "Crazy" İdris; and Okan Yalabık plays Hasan, a quiet rookie with an anthropology degree. The case brings them up against a drug dealer, the wealthy businessman Battal Çolakzade (Çetin Tekindor), and the victim's family, while irreversibly upending each officer's private life. The ensemble cast also features Melisa Sözen, Rıza Kocaoğlu, and Serkan Keskin.
