Nergis Çorakçı — Biography

Nergis Çorakçı was born on September 5, 1965 in Istanbul. A graduate of the Theatre Department of the Istanbul Conservatory, she worked with companies such as the Ali Poyrazoğlu Theatre, Dostlar Theatre, Kent Oyuncuları and the State Theatre, and received acting training from Yıldız Kenter.

She first appeared on screen in 1988 with the series Kuşlu Çorap, and went on to act in the films Gölge Oyunu, Babam ve Oğlum (2005) and Av Mevsimi (2010), as well as in series such as Menekşe ile Halil, Kötü Yol and Emanet.

In 2017 she became widely known for her role as Kıymet in the series İstanbullu Gelin, and in recent years she has appeared in the films Locman (2018), Alabora Aşk (2022), İyi Bir Aile Değiliz (2024) and Başka Bir Sen (2025).
