300 Worte Deutsch is a German film comedy written and directed by Züli Aladağ, with Ali Samadi Ahadi and Gabriela Sperl as co-writers, that plays with cultural peculiarities and clichés surrounding Turks living in Germany. Set in Cologne, it follows a community leader who brings young women from Turkey as brides for the unmarried men of his congregation. When the women turn out to speak no German and their language certificates prove forged, the immigration authorities step in and deportation looms, letting the film treat the friction between tradition and modern life with humour. The cast includes Sermiyan Midyat, Vedat Erincin, Aykut Kayacık and Almila Bağrıaçık.

The 96-minute film premiered on 29 June 2013 at Filmfest München, opened in German cinemas on 5 February 2015 and has been available on DVD and Blu-ray since August 2015.
