Vedat Erincin — Biography
Vedat Erincin, born in 1957 in Istanbul, is a stage and screen actor and writer who has worked in both Turkey and Germany. He co-founded the Wupper-Theater in Wuppertal and previously headed the Arkadaş Theater, focusing his stage work on intercultural theatre. His screen career began in the mid-2000s with the film Janjan, followed by German productions such as Evet, ich will!, Almanya: Welcome to Germany and Shahada (Faith). In Turkey he appeared in Kuma (2012), Şarkı Söyleyen Kadınlar, 300 Worte Deutsch and Willkommen bei Habib, then the series Tatar Ramazan (2013), followed by the films İçimdeki İnsan, Mutlu Kuzular and Macho Man (2014-2015). He also took roles in the German productions Tatort: Der Weg ins Paradies and Ruhe! Hier stirbt Lothar (2021). More recently he appeared in Faraway and Tereddüt Çizgisi (2023).
