Mutlu Kuzular

Mutlu Kuzular (German title Von glücklichen Schafen) is a 2015 drama directed by Kadir Sözen and shot in Germany. It centres on Elmas, a mother who works as a sex worker to provide for her two children, Can and Sevgi. When her sixteen-year-old son Can uncovers the truth, he reacts with shock and takes his younger sister to their grandfather's home, leaving Elmas devastated by their departure. Vedat Erincin appears as the estranged grandfather, with Erhan Emre also among the cast. Set within Germany's Turkish immigrant milieu, the film examines family, shame and belonging.
