Beste Bereket — Biography

Beste Bereket (born 2 July 1982, Istanbul) is a Turkish film and television actress. She had her first stage experience at the age of twelve in the weekend children's courses of the Müjdat Gezen Art Center. After pausing acting during her high school years at Fenerbahçe Süper Lisesi, she was admitted to the Physics Department of Istanbul University but chose not to attend, instead passing the theatre exam of the Mimar Sinan University State Conservatory and returning to acting.

She moved in front of the camera in the mid-2000s and made her name with the role of Burcu in the film Türev (2005). She went on to appear in feature films such as 2 Süper Film Birden (2006), Beş Şehir (2009) and the German production 300 Worte Deutsch (2013). On television she became known for the series Parmaklıklar Ardında (2007–2009) and Leyla ile Mecnun (2011–2012), and more recently appeared in Babam Çok Değişti (2021) and Uçuş 811 (2022). She married Serdar Önal in 2015.
