Kida Khodr Ramadan — Biography

Kida Khodr Ramadan was born on 8 October 1976 in the Burj el Barajneh area of Beirut, Lebanon, and grew up to become a German actor, film director and screenwriter of Lebanese descent. He has appeared in German film and television productions since 2003, taking early roles in Kebab Connection (2004), Underdogs (2007) and Phantomschmerz (2009). His profile rose considerably through the crime drama 4 Blocks, in which he played gang leader Ali "Toni" Hamady from 2017, a performance that brought him numerous acting prizes in Germany. Alongside the series he continued working steadily in film, appearing in Kaddisch für einen Freund (2012), 3 Türken und ein Baby (2015), Volt (2016), Dimitrios Schulze (2016) and Nur Gott kann mich richten (2018), and later joined the cast of the television series KBV – Keine besonderen Vorkommnisse (2021).
