Separate Worlds (Ayrı Dünyalar) (translated)

Ayrı Dünyalar is a 1974 Turkish romantic drama directed by Orhan Aksoy, from a screenplay written by Erdoğan Tünaş and Fuat Özlüer. Produced by Türker İnanoğlu for Erler Film with cinematography by Çetin Gürtop, the 96-minute film was released on 1 March 1974.

Starring Cüneyt Arkın and Gülşen Bubikoğlu, the story follows Fırtına Kemal, a kind-hearted nightclub and casino owner who must defend his businesses against the ruthless Amansız Tayyar (Turgut Özatay). His life intertwines with Aslı, a boarding-school student ashamed of her imprisoned father, after he accidentally hits her with his car, and an impossible love blossoms between two people from separate worlds. The cast also includes Bülent Kayabaş, Şükriye Atav and Şener Şen.
