Half an Apple (Yarım Elma) (translated)

Yarım Elma is a Turkish television series that aired in 2002–2003, blending comedy and drama. Produced by Sis Yapım and directed by Deniz Akçay Katıksız and Ömer Uğur, its first season aired on Kanal D while the second season moved to Show TV.

The story follows Yonca, a magazine editor whose orderly life is upended when Gonca, her twin sister whom she has not seen for years, suddenly shows up in Istanbul to find her. Yonca is at first distant and unwilling to accept this unexpected reunion, but she eventually softens and takes her sister in. The twins begin sharing a home, and their cohabitation gives rise to a string of humorous and occasionally touching events.

The leading roles were shared by Janset and Günay Karacaoğlu, with a supporting cast that included Selma Ergeç, Ruhi Sarı and Kayra Şenocak. The series ran for two seasons and concluded with its 55th episode.
