Şendoğan Öksüz — Biography

Şendoğan Öksüz is a Turkish actor born on 4 October 1971 in the Pazar district of Rize. After graduating from Marmara University, he turned to acting and first appeared on screen in 1999 with the series Yılan Hikayesi. He then gained experience in productions such as Dadı, Efsane, Yarım Elma, Hayat Bilgisi and Kurtlar Vadisi. In the 2000s he appeared in series such as Binbir Gece, İki Aile and Aşk Yakar, and continued his career with projects like Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki, Şüphe, Bir Zamanlar Osmanlı Kıyam and İnadına Aşk. In cinema, he portrayed Dr. Ahmet in the 2008 film The Heaven and also appeared in the 2015 film Fatih'in Fedaisi: Kara Murat. Öksüz reached a wide audience with his role as Cemal Reis in the series Sen Anlat Karadeniz, broadcast on atv in 2018, and also appeared in the series Yalnız Kurt in 2022. He is married to Şukufe Kevser Öksüz.
